Nike LeBron X Elite – First Look
We had a sneak peek at the upcoming Nike LeBron X Elite and it looks like this is the first clear image of the entire sneaker.
The TPU support frame is definitely gone and replaced with quite a bit of Carbon Fiber which should increase their support tenfold… the Zoom unit may still be a bit unstable at the forefoot but the overall support looks to have been upgraded. Other than that… the only real performance enhancement is the reduction of materials along the upper as it looks like more mesh is used versus the entire top layer being Fuse.

I hope Nike sticks with the black/gold and white/gold colorways, along with the extra padding like in some of last years models of elites. Kevlar shoe laces would also be a Nike touch.

i heard these are suppposed to be 285. Not enough upgrades to warrant a $100+ price increase IMO

I hate their new ankle construction, the ones on the original X looks much more dope. I dont think carbon fiber is enough for a 100 dollar price increase
looks like they got rid of the asymmetrical collar lining and beefed up the padding.
We haven’t seen the outsole yet but since the Lebron X did so well in the traction department I doubt they completely overhauled the design. Maybe they’ll add some deep flex grooves and a softer rubber

Oh thats cool. I’m excited to see how those turn out. I have seen pics of Durant sporting a new low top model, perhaps its those, or maybe we will be getting an Elite, and a low top!
Durant was quoted in an interview at the beginning of the NBA season saying that he has a low top elite KD V this year.
I loved the carbon fiber on the support wings on my 9s until they started to come unwoven and fall apart
