Some tech specs were leaked on NikeTalk this morning on the upcoming LeBron XI.

We should look for an October 2013 release and the visible Max Zoom will still be in place but it will be accompanied by a Lunarlon midsole. A new rendition of Foamposite will makes its debut and it has been dubbed Armorposite. Dynamic Flywire will be used once again and these are said to weigh about 14oz, the lightest LeBron to date.

The two launch colorways are said to be a King of the Jungle themed model and a Mark XI (Iron Man) in a Metal Blue color.

    gonna be reallllly expensive

  2. jay2 says:

Lunarlon and Max Zoom?! They may be too damn comfortable hahaha! The price is certainly gonna be a concern. I think it’ll break the $200 mark for the basic version.

  3. johnsmith says:

Nike should watch the price increase. A lot of people won’t buy 180$ or more shoes. It seems like they havent learned from lebron x or sport packs.

  4. Akib says:

    Armorposite+Lunarlon+Dynamic Flywire+ 360 Zoom?
Sound like a hell of a shoe. But the price will probably go to $200. Nike never listens to us.

  5. Adam says:

I bet these will be awesome. These would be perfect (assuming the armorposite is well-executed) if they did like targeted max zoom

  6. Seth says:

I have the olympic Xs and there is no reason to own a LeBron shoe unless you’re 6 foot 8 and almost 300 pounds and a world class athlete. That’s who they are made for. it’s like having heavy cushioned couches on my feet.

  7. IZblind says:

i really cant be spending 200$ on a basic model shoes. Lebrons are already breaking the bank. Plus i like lows more than mids but the bron X lows suck. i hate exposed flywire

  8. doublestackzoom says:

    I’m very intrigued!

  9. collins says:

I’ll be getting the shroudless XX8 or KD VI or Soldier 7 by that time.

    • Trezz says:

Agreed. I’m really looking for those Jordan xx8 lite without the shroud. If they do those in some good colorways, those will be the priority.

  10. devon says:

That what I call a expensive shoe with all that tech the price is not going to be consumer friendly

  11. BigBoi says:

I honestly could care less about the price as long as they keep it under 300 dollars. The tech has won me over, even before I’ve actually seen them.

  12. BigBoi says:

I looked at the thread from nightwing

“the price will be should be a 5-20 increase but we all know Nike can change the price point
depending on the feedback they get.
But everyone should be fine with it considering it will have posite, lunar and an air bag.”

NOT BAD, I can deal with a 185-200 pricetag!

  13. Connor says:

I’m a huge fan of the LeBron 10, i cant wait for this shoe to drop. The tech sounds crazy

  14. robert smith says:

Why cant Jordans have some kick ass tech like this…250 dollars for recycled ideas is way too much. No one can tell me some techflex and unlocked zoom is worth that much. Ever see any NBA players on the court wearin ‘em? Westbrook? He’s getting paid to wear them….Im just sayin if you are going to say the word innovation, make sure you follow through. The lebron XI sounds innovative.

  15. SneakerLulu says:

Max Zoom is both air max and zoom air combined right?

  16. Mxsx341 says:

Can’t wait for these. I will be passing on the elites now for sure. I am 6’4″ 225 3 and absolutely love the X to hoop in. Favorite ball shoe since the questions, answer 1, and XI back in the 90s. Great job nightwing on all reviews and look forward to the fall. Appreciate the unbiased reviews and hard work

    • user13 says:

The article is pretty much word for word what was posted by someone else on NT. He didn’t do anything but copy and paste LOL. No hard work, and I guess, luckily, no bias from the original poster of this info.

      • It isn’t word for word but the TECH INFO is what was used to write this post. What did you want me to do, make up a fairy tale and imagine new tech specs that aren’t really there? I swear, some people are just plain stupid.

      • Jan says:

Ever crossed your damn mind that 1. this is a piece about tech specs which you cant just make up and 2. the shoutout was due to the work put into the site overall (hence “all reviews”)…some people ARE just plain stupid!

    • Mark Fenimore says:

I’m with Mxsx341 – I’m a 200lb+ guy and the X’s are the best thing since sliced bread to play in for me, especially coming off of knee surgery since they’re so darn cushioned. Thanks to Nightwing’s reviews I stomached the cost and I’d say they were worth every penny of the $200 I paid. For a part time player who can make a shoe last a few years, I’d totally go for the XI if they can improve on the X!

  17. Drew says:

Sounds like a #win to me.

  18. Edwin says:

nightwing, do u have id in NT??

definitely lebron XI will be one hell of shoe

  19. Rowan Tam says:

wait, isnt foamposite pretty heavy? how is it gonne be the lightest lebron then??

  20. Vu Nguyen says:

This makes me want to sell my Lebron X Area 72 so I can save up for these XI when they come out. The tech is insane.

  21. TIm says:

sounds exciting, and expensive…..lunarlon, visible max zoom, and even a new type of foamposite?

  22. Payton says:

Apparently the regular version is supposed to be $200, steep.
