The past meets the present with the Li-Ning Way of Wade… W.o.W.
I went over the cushion in the last Performance Teaser but I just wanted to let you know… it gets better with each wear. It’s still not as bouncy as the Turningpoint but it’s still a great source of protective cushion.
Now… the traction. This is what could make or break a shoe for me…
Thank goodness this pattern works. It’s super sticky on clean and moderately dusty courts making your playing time even more fun. On the worst court conditions it still can hold you onto the floor but not anywhere near as nice as it will on typical floors & by typical I mean swept once a week.
Will it hold up outdoors? Well… you can kind of answer that question yourself just by looking at the outsole. The DW pattern isn’t very thick so it will grind down quickly on a rough surface. I personally wouldn’t choose to wear these on an outdoor court.
When people tell me that I’m crazy for playing in Retro models I always reply with a, “you don’t know what you’re missing.”
Soon enough… you’ll find out as these are built the same way as an older model… only better. Better how? You’ll have to wait for the full review… duh.

I have to disagree with you NW. Li-ning design their shoes to rock on blacktops since their a chinese company. I personally see it lasting outdoors. Still, your the professional so many people would rather listen to you instead of me. Well done my mate

i do have a question thou about the outsole. it doesnt seem to have a flex groove. how do u find the shoe performing when u drive/dash or any similar motion when u flex the shoe forward??
